Electrocardiagram (EKG)
An Electrocardiagram is a test that allows us to measure the electrical activity of the heart. With this, we can record the patients heart and electrical signals as they pass through the heart muscle. This test comes with “The Vols Evaluation” and “The Tennessee Ultra Heart Check” packages.
Echocardiogram
An Echocardiogram is a non-invasive ultrasound of the heart. This scan is able to use sound waves to create images of the heart’s structure and function, allowing us to asses the size, shape, and how well it pumps blood.
Holter Monitor
A Holter Monitor is a portable device that is used to record the activity of the heart for a long period of time. This allows us to monitor heart rhythms and identify potential problems. This device is a small, battery-operated ECG recorder that you can wear while going about your everyday routine.
Stress Echocardiogram
A Stress Echocardiogram is a test that combines the ultrasound test of a regular echocardiogram with a stress test, such as walking on a treadmill or using a bicycle. Adding the stress test access how well your heart is working under stress, which helps us diagnose conditions like coronary artery disease and access heart function.
Loop Monitor Implant
A Loop Monitor Implant is a small, battery-powered device that gets implanted under the skin of the chest to monitor the heart’s electrical activity. The implant is used to diagnose and manage heart rhythm disorders, specifically arrythmias. It can record the heart’s electrical signals, often for up to three years.
